Medical examinations
Examinations are undertaken by a nationwide network of nurses - now the largest force in the United Kingdom. Examinations by doctors are also available at our clinics or through our network of General Practitioners.
The service falls into three broad categories; mobile screenings for insurance underwriters; mobile visits for disability claims assessments and, increasingly, domiciliary visits for independent lifestyle reviews. This is a fast accurate service that is tracked at all times.
Our fully qualified, carefully chosen nurses provide courteous and friendly consultations in clients' homes or on-site. Trained to a high standard of medical competence, their professional attitude and customer awareness ensure a consistently high standard of service.
MediTrak
Medicals Direct uses proven technology solutions to minimise paperwork, simplify processes and speed service delivery whilst ensuring data is protected effectively and robust continuity plans are in place.
Its system, called MediTrak is a web-based, secure system that is used by many hundreds of clients who each has their own secure access code supported by a 24 hour automated help line to assist with forgotten passwords etc. The system is exposed to rigorous testing on a regular basis to ensure it complies with very strict security and penetration tests so that clients can be assured their data is safe.
The system has a number of modules including doctor screenings, nurse screenings, tele-interviews, claims, rehabilitation and more. The modules are accessible according to the services required and enable clients to request cases, track cases and view the interim and final reports in accordance with the relevant service. Laboratory test results are also available on-line.
Designated administrators are appointed within the client company and they control and manage access to the system so that the control process can be aligned with their own internal controls.
In addition to entering new instructions individually the system has the facility to capture requests in bulk via electronic transfer.
Nurse medicals are completely automated using the Trackberry solution, which involves supplying our Nurse Network with Blackberries and digital pens. The instructions are emailed to the nurse’s Blackberry immediately upon receipt and the report is completed using the digital pen and automatically returned via the Blackberry. The completed forms are uploaded to Meditrak for viewing/printing within minutes of receipt.
It is also possible to run a comprehensive selection of reports from the system for management information or workflow management. All reports can be exported to excel for filtering etc.
In addition our Nurses and Preferred Doctors centres have access to their cases through Nursetrak and Doctrak. This allows them to manage their workloads on screen and provide update and appointment information directly into our systems.
